I was born and grew up in Ho Chi Minh City. I am the third child of a big family. When I was six years old, I attended grade 1 at Lam Sôn School. Although I was not an excellent pupil, I passed the final exams annually and my schooling kept on steadily. When I was in grade 6, I quit school in spite of the warning of the family. I moved to the country to live with my grandmother and helped her with farming. Some time later I had second thoughts and decided to come back to the city after three years of being on the farm. The local civil servants sent me to “Thieáu Nieân” school. Now I am in grade 9. Through a classmate’s recommendation, I am attending a training course to become a photographer.
